ABOUT SNACK & LUNCH
Good Nutrition plays an important part in your child's growth and development.
We provide morning and afternoon snacks daily. Nutritious snack menus are posted on the hallway information bulletin boards by the kitchens.
All monthly "Cooking Projects" are conducted during morning snack time.
LUNCH is from 11:45am-12:30pm. You can order a hot lunch for your child from us, or bring a lunch from home with a cold pack to keep it from spoiling while in the cubby. We have microwaves in all the rooms, and can heat up any items.
Hot lunches include all the food groups and are freshly cooked. You may choose the days you wish to orders, or you can get them automatically daily.
WHAT ABOUT ALLERGIES?
My child has allergies!
We take allergies very seriously! Whether your child has food allergies, medicine allergies, seasonal allergies or any other kind of allergies that we should know about please mark them clearly in your "medical history form" when enrolling. We have a system that all our staff knows to pay extra care and attention to when in a class with a child with allergies.
Allergy lists are posted in all the rooms that food is served. If your child has an Epi-pen for any reason you are asked to bring one for us to keep here. All of our teachers are trained on how to use the Epi-pen.
